Debbie Connolly is the Founder of SafePets UK and appears in the first series of the BBC programme "Dog Borstal".  Debbie is currently in negotiations for other media projects, watch this space for news!  She will be launching a major new dog training national initiative in May 2008.

Various clubs, schools and organisations ask Debbie to speak on issues such as responsible ownership, animal behaviour and humorous talks about being a single woman, picking up men and other subjects.

Debbie gives frequent interviews for TV, newspapers and Radio regarding dog issues.   Keen to help rescues and community projects, she will often open shows and judge classes.

She is against breed bans and in September '07  she is giving newspaper and Radio interviews regarding a proposed breed ban by Swansea council and others around the UK. Including BBC Radio Wales on 6th September 2007 on the Richard Evans show.

Writing

She writes a monthly advice column for her sponsors  Burns Pet Nutrition website

She is writing articles for a major glossy dog magazine, first one out in April/May 2008!

Debbie will be at Countrywide Store, Carmarthen on 19th April 2008 The store is running a photo competition with prizes.  There will be microchipping and a chance to ask Debbie about your pet.

Dog Borstal has now come to the end of the current 4 episodes.  I want to thank the BBC for the opportunity and Rob and Mic for keeping me sane.  Thank you to all the people who called and mailed and gave me such support and thanks to all the new customers!

I wish the guys luck in their second series, I am moving on to other projects!
